This rigorous course of study combines education in economics and business management, and gives students a solid educational foundation in supply chain and logistics management. Emphasis is often placed on the enhancement of analytical skills, decision-making abilities and management capabilities in relation to warehousing and supplying goods within the global marketplace. Some supply chain management programs also emphasize sustainability and green business practices, although some degree of variation should be expected among programs.
Students who effectively earn a BSc in Supply Chain Management are generally more employable than those without degrees or those with associate’s degrees. BSc holders also tend to earn more than those without degrees or with only two-year degrees.
